The curriculum for Foundation (Prep) to Year 10 in Victoria is known as AusVELS. This represents the integration of the new Australian Curriculum subjects into the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS). VELS was the previous Victorian curriculum framework used by schools.

Implementation of AusVELS began in 2013, when schools used the achievement standards for reporting to parents. The AusVELS curriculum currently incorporates the Australian Curriculum for English, Mathematics, Science and History, with adjustments made where necessary to reflect Victorian priorities and standards. Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority

Due to the progressive nature of the new Australian Curriculum implementation, the FutureSchool system offers both the Australian Curriculum and the AusVELS curriculum for your family or school.

Whatever level your family, you can rest assured that FutureSchool will complement and work hand-in-hand with their current schoolwork. Whether starting out in Primary or revising for the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL), you’ll find FutureSchool a useful resource to have at home.

For those schools that offer the International Baccalaureate or Cambridge International Examinations curricula, these are also available within FutureSchool as part of its standard curriculum library.
