The goal of the national curriculum is to have learners progress from one level to the next in a seamless, continuous, coherent way through productive and meaningful experiences.  Learning should be progressive and developmental.  The curriculum should facilitate the translation of the national development goals to classroom instruction. It should allow for the pursuit of personal goals and link learning to assessment.   Levels of sophistication should increase and tasks become more complex as students move through the continuum. Ministry of Education, The Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Trinidad and Tobago offer free schooling from kindergarten all the way up to the university level, and their educational system is fairly similar to that of Britain educational system. Mandatory schooling starts at the age of five, although many parents opt to send their children to pre-primary at the age of three, as basic reading and writing are required upon entry to primary school. In order to go to secondary school, students must take the secondary entrance assessment, which tests literacy, math, reasoning and comprehension skills. Performance on this exam determines placement in secondary school. Secondary school is five years and students can either follow a regular academic curriculum or go the vocational route. At the end, students receive the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate.

Top Performance

In order to obtain a place in a good secondary school, students are required to perform well in such areas as math and literacy. Our online education program can help students prepare for their assessment with eLearning classes in both math and English. Students can study lessons similar to the ones they were taught in primary school. They can study any level, going over any materials on which they feel they might need improvement, improving their chances of getting better grades.

Studying is key to performing well in academics. We offer students an excellent opportunity to review any part of their curriculum. With thirty days of free online classes, students can see just how well they can do.
