The minimum hardware requirements to use Future School are:
- Broadband Internet connection
- Intel®, AMD® or PowerPC processor
- Memory: 256 Megabytes (MB) of RAM
- Display: 800x600 (16-bit colour) or higher resolution
- Sound capability with headphones (recommended) or speakers
- Pointing device: mouse, touch screen, trackball, touch pad, graphics tablet
The Future School program is supported on the following operating systems:
- Microsoft Windows® (Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista)
- Apple Macintosh® (MAC OS X 10.4 and later)
- Linux®
The Future School program is supported on the following web browsers:
- Internet Explorer 6 or later
- Firefox 1.5 or later
- Netscape 8.01 or later
- Opera 9 or later
- Safari 3 or later
Each of the browsers above additionally requires:
- Cookies enabled
- Javascript enabled
- Adobe Flash Player plugin: version 8 or above
